Elden Ring officially delayed, closed network testing announced

The highly anticipated Elden Ring has been officially delayed, as tweeted by the official Twitter account. The game was originally planned to release in January 2022, but has now been delayed by an entire month to February. 

On the other hand. a closed network testing has been announced as well, allowing selected players to test out the game's multiplayer aspect in November 2021. The network testing will only be available to console owners and will not be available on PC. Signups are open now until November 1 on the official Bandai Namco website.

  • The Closed Network Test servers will be open during the following 5 sessions:
    • Session 1 - November 12th (Fri) from 3:00am to 6:00am PT
    • Session 2 - November 12th (Fri) from 7:00pm to 10:00pm PT
    • Session 3 - November 13th (Sat) from 11:00am to 2:00pm PT
    • Session 4 - November 14th (Sun) from 3:00pm to 6:00pm PT
    • Session 5 - November 14th (Sun) from 7:00pm to 10:00pm PT

Elden Ring will be releasing on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on February 25, 2022.
