DC Dual Force brings DC crashing into the CCG space

More On: DC Dual Force

Probably my most-played game of all time is Plants vs. Zombies: Heroes. I can't tell you how many hours I've sunk into this thing; I'm afraid to even contemplate it. I pull out my phone and hop into matches all the time - at lunch, while the food is cooking, while I'm waiting in the car line outside of my kids' school. I absolutely love it, because I love CCG games. This one just happened to get its hooks into me.

That's why I'm excited about DC Dual Force, a new CCG game coming in Q3 2022 from Cryptozoic and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. I like my PvZ game for the mechanics, but I don't much care about Plants vs. Zombies as a franchise. But I love DC superheroes. If I can collect cards with my the Justice League and the Legion of Doom, and create custom decks based on how those heroes' powers interact? Oh buddy, I'm in.

There isn't a ton of detail yet on the gameplay (the game is still a ways off), but a recent press release states that: "DC Dual Force gives players the chance to team up with their favorite DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains and build amazing decks that take advantage of the characters’ synergies. This unlocks expansive variety in gameplay, particularly in terms of strategy."
