Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's final DLC character arrives on October 18th with keyblade in hand

Something I've enjoyed discussing with friends in the past is who we'd like to see in Super Smash Bros., especially in the past couple of months when it was announced that there would be one final character added to the roster. Ideas were thrown out among friends and co-workers from Doom Guy to Crash Bandicoot to Waluigi to even Master Chief. I had a couple of my own ideas that I think would have worked and while we did get Doom Guy as a Mii costume, and even though you could say that the final character is another sword fighter, I am perfectly okay with this one as Sora from Kingdom Hearts "is finally here".

Sora has not appeared on a Nintendo console since Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance hit the Nintendo 3DS way back in 2012, and with most of the Kingdom Hearts series coming to the Switch via cloud gaming and next year being the 20th anniversary of the series, this seems like as good a time as any to bring the keyblade wielder into the Smash Bros. universe. Some may complain about another sword fighter being in Smash, but as someone who's been slowly but surely getting into the Kingdom Hearts series I can't wait for Sora to mix it up with the rest of the roster. Also he's not from Fire Emblem so that's a plus.
