More On: Snake Man's Adventure

We got an email today, informing us that today is World Snake Day. In celebration, Snake Man's Adventure - DosoSoft's weird and funny 2D platformer - is on sale for $5.99. I've been meaning to check out Snake Man's Adventure, so this seemed like the perfect opportunity.

Snake Man's Adventure is indeed quirky and weird. When a gang of Gandiots reveal themselves by spraying the local wildlife with "dumb rays", Snake Man must reveal himself to the locals - most of whom turn out to also be aliens. In fact, there was only one true human in the game, as far as I could tell.

The platforming in Snake Man's Adventure is a bit floaty, but surprisingly solid. The visuals are very unique, with hand-drawn sprites galivanting over photo-realistic backgrounds. I ended up having a pretty good time with Snake Man and the gang, amusing myself by making up wildly inconsistent voices for all of the characters. You can check out my play session here:

You can grab your own copy of Snake Man's Adventure here, for the low, low price of $5.99. Happy World Snake Day!
