Today at Square-Enix's E3 presentation, the company revealed the new game Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin with an action-packed trailer. While many have been expecting an action-based Final Fantasy game - often referred to as the "Dark Souls Final Fantasy", we weren't expecting to see the game revealed today.
While Stranger of Paradise looks interesting, the GN gang found ourselves snickering at how many times the characters in the trailer say the word "Chaos" in deadly serious tones. If you had a bottle of booze handy, you could make a brief drinking game out of this one by drinking every time someone says the word. "I'm here to kill Chaos. That's my mission. Killing Chaos. I won't rest until Chaos is dead." It seems like these guys really want to kill Chaos.
A team-up between Square Enix, Koei Tecmo Games, and Team Ninja, Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is expected to release in 2022 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
