More On: Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

Borderlands 2 gave us one of the greatest characters in the franchise in Tiny Tina, an adorable ten year old with a penchant for explosives. Later on she got her own DLC in Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep where the players were essentially characters in a game of Bunkers and Badasses with Tina being the...Bunker Master I guess? It was nice to see Tina return in Borderlands 3 and still with the fondness for blowing things up, but next year will see something...interesting.

Announced during the Summer Game Fest Kickoff, Gearbox and 2K have announced that next year will see the launch of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. Yes, Tina is actually getting her own game. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands will see Tina guide the player through an extraordinary and chaotic fantasy realm as you'll be bringing the fight to skeletons, goblins, dragons, and more of your typical fantasy creatures, except with guns because this is still in the Borderlands universe after all. Not only will Ashley Burch be reprising her role as Tiny Tina, but there's a bit of an all-star cast with Will Arnett voicing a tyrannical Dragon Lord, Andy Samberg voicing the headstrong Captain Valentine, and Wanda Sykes voicing a rule-obsessed robot named Frette (great, a robotic rules lawyer). The story campaign and repeatable end-game content can be played solo or in a party with up to three friends.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is schedule for release in 2022 for the Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and I for one can't wait to see what kind of madness Tina plans to unleash in this new fantasy world...filled with guns.  Can't forget that.
