Akupara Games, the developer behind the upcoming Stadia Metroidvania GRIME, today showed off a Stadia-exclusive walkthrough of the game's Lithic Stage. Narrated by GRIME director Yarden Weissbrot, the brief video gives players a much closer look at the game's weapon systems and combat. The walkthrough culminates in a savage, no-nonsense beatdown by the "Harmless Rockgiant", a not-very-harmless-at-all miniboss.
GRIME does not yet have a release date, but the game is already looking pretty solid. I love the bone-crushing sounds the combat makes, and the game appears to have some RPG elements that distinguish it from other games in the genre.
