4 ways to Smash?!

More On: Super Smash Brawl
Nintendo's official Smash Bros. website, Smash Bros. Dojo, recently had a somewhat disappointing relaunch, but the news they just posted makes up for it.  Supposedly Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the Wii sequel coming later this year, will have no less than four control schemes.  You'll be able to use the GameCube pad (no brainer), the classic Virtual Console pad (also expected), the Wii remote and Nunchuk (okayyyy....) or just the remote all by itself (?).  Lead developer Masahiro Sakurai says he prefers the GCN pad because of the rumble.  I'm just wondering if button presses on the more traditional controllers will be performed with gestures on the Wii remote and Nunchuk.  For now Sakurai isn't telling, so I guess Nintendo will keep up the Smash Bros. teasing for a while more.
