WWF WrestleFest is one of those arcade games that pro wrestling fans have been begging to get a re-release today. It never got a console release nor any kind of re-release after that, but that will probably never happen since re-releasing that game would be a licensing nightmare. Fans however are in luck because and official sequel to the game has been announced and will feature a roster of past and present wrestlers from various wrestling promotions.
RetroMania Wrestling is the official sequel to WWF WrestleFest and features a variety of actual real life Pro Wrestlers including the Legion of Doom, Tommy Dreamer, Zack Sabre Jr, Colt Cabana, Nick Aldis and more. The game also features multiple arenas, match types, and game modes including a career mode and a "10 Pounds of Gold" arcade mode.
RetroMania Wrestling will be released on February 26th 2021 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
