I always get a little excited when I see Wales Interactive announce a new interactive film. I have a grand time "requesting" my family play through these games with me, taking turns making choices and hooting at our horrible outcomes. I'm a fan, and there must be a lot more like me out there, because Wales Interactive just keeps cranking these things out.
This time, WI teamed up with UK production company Ghost Dog Films for a spooky-looking entry entitled I Saw Black Clouds. This one looks like a legit creepy ghost story. Check out the trailer:
Looks pretty good, right? As usual, the story will shift around, depending on the choices you make. Unlike some other games that sometimes stick to variations on the same narrative, Wales Interactive's games tend to swing wildly in different directions. These games also respect the player's time, allowing you to skip scenes you've already seen on replay, so you can get to the good stuff while trying to see different endings.
I Saw Black Clouds has been announced for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Mac, with PS5 and Xbox X|S versions coming at a later date. Check out the game's website here, and keep an eye on Gaming Nexus for more news on this one as it develops.
