I love the NVIDIA Shield as it gets a lot of updates. I have three in my house and they are solid machines. With the release of new consoles comes new hardware. Today, NVIDIA is rolling out a new update to take advantage of them.

With the new update, the Shield will support the DualSense controller from Sony and the Xbox Series X controllers via Bluetooth. All you have to do is pair them up with the Shield and you're good to go. The DualSense is by far one of the best controllers for a console out there, so it's great to see NVIDIA adding in support for it.

For those who have Control4 setups, the update will also let you use the Shield remote to control those items.

Finally, there's a few bugs that have gotten squashed so it should make for a better experience. But, the big news is the support for the two controllers so if you game on the Shield, you now have the option to use the latest console controllers out there on it.
