Mando and Baby Yoda come to Star Wars Pinball

More On: Zen Pinball Star Wars Pinball

The Star Wars Pinball franchise by Zen Studios is so ubiquitous at this point that Gaming Nexus has reviewed it no less than four times on various platforms. (Here's my review of the Switch version. Spoiler: I love it). However, the franchise/platform has gone quiet in recent months, as Zen has been focused on cranking out digital adaptations of real-world Williams pinball machines and has left its more fantastical offerings to collect a little dust.

Well, it turns out that Zen hasn't abandoned those of us that enjoy its less hardcore offerings, as yesterday it announced that a new fantasy table based on the hit Disney+ series The Mandalorian is coming soon. Check out the super-brief teaser:

From a recent press release: "The brand new table inspired by The Mandalorian features story-based missions following events of the first season that can be played in any order. Players will experience the game from the perspective of the Mandalorian himself, and the table is set in the cargo hold of the Razor Crest. The table brings the Mandalorian, the Child, and IG-11 to life on the table as 3D characters, and features 3D objects such as the Razor Crest, Moff Gideon’s outland TIE fighter, and the AT-ST seen in Chapter 4: Sanctuary."

I am delighted to see a new table from Star Wars Pinball. Zen's fantasy tables never fail to suck me into an endless cycle of "just one more round" - I just extricated myself from their Fallout table this past weekend by the skin of my teeth. These things are addictive. Throw Baby Yoda into the mix, and you've got a recipe for a few lost weekends.
