Far Fetched is a bunch of survival quests taking you further into the fog of war

More On: Far Fetched

I barely know what's going on here, yet it's all so simple and wonderfully simple at that. Far Fetched [Steam page] by developer GamePlanet and/or KiwiPasta, is instantly striking in its art style. I'll admit I'm a sucker for thin black-lined pen drawings paired with Moebius-like coloring and details. If I were being a jerk I'd ask for a little bit more anti-aliasing to remove some of the jaggies, but perhaps that's all part of the aesthetic as well.

Anyway, you're a skinny, rat-mustached fella with a part down the middle and a penchant for growing tuber veggies that are he chews up and blows a bubblegum air bubble around his head in order to run out into the uncolored fog and, well, fetch things. Some of these things you might say are far fetched (eh, eh?). There are dangers lurking in the fog—as well as friends—as you bring back materials to expand your shelter. Don't get lost. Be careful at night. And "don't let the embers go out" in your traveling node.

Far Fetched is coming to PC with a TBA launch date.
