Creative launches the SXFI Gamer headset utilizing the awesome Super X-Fi technology
I've been priveleged to experience Super X-Fi at Creative Labs booth at CES for two years in a row and both times, it's blown me away. Having used a few of their Super X-Fi products at home and being a gamer, I'm excited about this one.
Today Creative announced the SXFI GAMER headset that is built for us gaming folks. The headset will utilize a BATTLE Mode profile that's setup especially for those that enjoy first person shooters. I'm expecting the same awesome fully immersive sound coming from the SXFI GAMER that I experienced using the portable DAC. Here's hoping the gamer-centric profile will help enhance all the environmental sounds in games as well as provide a richer audio experience.
The SXFI GAMER will also be home to a brand new microphone design dubbed the CommanderMic. It boasts ambient noise suppression and improved voice pickup using SXFI inPerson technology.
To help with cable strength, it'll be reinforced with Kevlar and attaches to your computer via USB. And it wouldn't be a gamer product without a little color thrown into the mix as the cups have RGB lighting with up to 16.7 million options for color.
