Nightdive Studios wants it known: the reports of System Shock's death are highly premature. They've been cracking away at their remaster ever since refocusing their design philosophy toward the game, and they're building hype with demos and a new trailer. This one juxstaposes jazzy elevator music against some pretty creepy encounters with SHODAN mutants. With Deus Ex and Bioshock both apparently on hiatus, it's only fitting that this long-misunderstood pioneer of the immersive sim genre gets the fresh coat of paint and accessibility it so richly deserves.
