The 2020 Tokyo Game Show has been canceled, will have an online event

In something that wasn't a surprise to anyone, the 2020 Tokyo Game Show has been canceled. But, they will have an online event so people around the world can sit in the comfort of their home and watch announcements of some new games.

Originally scheduled for September 24th through the 27th, the Tokyo Game Show will now have an online presence but there's no details if it will be that same week or at a different date.

I have a feeling that many more events next year will not take place as usual, but I hope to be proven wrong. I was really hoping to go to CES again next year, but I have my doubts that will happen along with many other electronic and gaming events until they can get this pandemic under control
