Sony must have realized what a value driven subscription looks like with Microsoft recently expanding their Game Pass subscription service to Ultimate Game Pass and including both Console and PC games for a single price.  While that may not be the primary reason behind today's announcement from Sony that they have cut the price of the PlayStation Now subscription.  The new pricing models for several currencies/countries is below, but here in the U.S. the new price is US: $9.99/$24.99/$59.99 for Month/Quarter/Year, which is a savings of $10/$20/$40 respectively over the previous prices (from $19.99/ $44.99/ $99.99.)

In addition to the 800+ game son the service, four new heavy hitters were added as of today and will be available through 1/2/20:

  • God of War
  • Grand Theft Auto V**
  • inFAMOUS Second Son
  • Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

I’m an existing 12-month subscriber. What will change for me?
You will see the new reduced price reflected on your next billing cycle. You’ll also have access to the newly announced blockbuster titles on the service. Otherwise, your service will remain the same, and you can continue to enjoy the hundreds of games currently available.
