During their EA Play 2019 Livestream EA showed off 15 minutes of footage form Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.  The mission had protagonist Cal helping Saw Gerrera break into an Empire facility on Kashyyyk.  Not only is the Empire enslaving Wookies but they are also harvesting the sap from the planet's trees.

The gameplay is a solid evolution of what we've seen from previous Star Wars games.  Even standard force powers like push and pull have been given new twists as we saw Cal push a trooper into a bolt and watched him pull a storm trooper in close to stab them through the chest.

In addition to that we saw Cal doing a bit of wall walking (which isn't surprising for a Respawn game), lots of climbing, and Cal using the new slow force power which allows him to freeze enemies and slow- things in the environment.  After the gameplay footage the development team from Respawn did say that players will have to stay on the light side of the force as the game is canon and they expect Cal to turn up in other parts of the Star Wars universe.

The gameplay did show a few AI quirks and some early UI that will probably be tweaked by the time the game is available.  I'm intrigued by what I saw in the footage and I'm hoping that the game will be as good as Titanfall 2.
