Ubisoft taking care of For Honor players after last weeks issues

Last week, Ubisoft was having all kinds of issues, and it especially hit their For Honor players particularly hard.  While the company promised that they would offer compensation to those impacted by the loss of subscription services and DLC, I don't think anyone was really sure what that entailed.  Today though, the company announced that those that were wrongfully shut out of their paid for sub, will get 25,000 Steel (in-game currency) and 5 Scavenger crates in their account.  That is not a small comp plan, as 25K in steel retails for $19.99 and the crates usually contain three common items and two premium based on your rank, so 15 common gear and 10 Premium Gear items is a decent haul.
