Square Enix showing off Last Remnant Remastered enhancements

More On: The Last Remnant Remastered

Any time a Remastered version of a game is being released, the publisher always wants to show off why the game is better than the original version, which usually was on a prior generation system.  In the case of The Last Remnant Remastered, Square Enix is showing off how the Unreal Engine 4 has enhanced the impending PS4 release of the game with significant graphics improvements that make the game a lot more realistic than the original release.

Of course, the video is doing a comp against the 10 year old Xbox 360 release (as opposed to PC) to show this difference, which begs the question why waste the time and make a remastered version of a game that our reviewer liked, but had mixed reviews by most when you have had 10 years to make a new game in the series?  Regardless, if you missed the chance to play it on Xbox 360 or PC 10 years ago, the Remastered version of the game will hit PS4 worldwide on 12/06/18.
