HyperX announces a Sony licensed Cloud headset

More On: Kingston HyperX Cloud Pro Gaming Headset

HyperX recently announced a version of their Cloud headset licensed by Sony. The headset features blue color accents as well as the Playstation logo on the side. It's available at Best Buy and on Amazon for $79.99.

This Cloud headset is identical to the original Cloud headset from a hardware perspective, so anyone who's used the original can expect a similar experience. The Sony-licensed Cloud meets the same price point as it's predecessor, so those who want to go for the platform specific headset won't have to shell out any extra dough. In comparison to other HyperX headsets, the Cloud falls right in between the Cloud Stinger ($50) and the Cloud Alpha ($100)

So long story short, if you have a PS4 or just like the color scheme, this is a solid option. In my experience, I've always found HyperX headsets to have good construction, but they really shine in their level of comfort. If you're looking for a gaming headset that's not too heavy on the ears or the wallet, this could be for you.
