I know what you're thinking, but don't worry, the cable conglomerate that practically owns the East Coast is not coming for our game consoles. At least not yet.
No, the news I'm bringing you today is a bit more pleasant. Spectrum, a puzzle-platformer in the vain of Boxboy!, is coming to consoles this Spring. From developers 3D Avenue, the game looks to be a more fluid, and slightly less stressful version of the Nintendo puzzle-platformer that isn't actually Mario.
I'm digging these puzzle-platformers that some developers are putting out there. It takes me back to Embers of Mirrim, and while I can't say that I loved that game, I can appreciate the vibes that all of these titles give off. I don't need to be amped up for every encounter I have in a game, sometimes I just want to go with the flow.
Here's the trailer. Spectrum will release in Spring 2018.
