Ride Cedar Point's new hybrid coaster, Steel Vengeance with the free update to Planet Coaster

More On: Planet Coaster

Cedar Point is known for some record breaking coasters and they are going to have a new one next year called Steel Vengeance. This hybrid wooden and steel coaster will be the the tallest, fastest, and longest of its kind when it opens in May of 2018.

Frontier Developments is partnering with Cedar Point and it's bringing you the coaster to be used in its game Planet Coaster. The free update is available now so you can put it in your virtual theme park 9 months ahead of time.

At Cedar Point, Mean Streak, a staple of my childhood when I went there, will be torn down and replaced by the new coaster. The new 5,740 foot ride should be a pretty impressive sight in that area. Thanks for all the memories, Mean Streak.

This partnership with Cedar Point is pretty cool and it's great to see these types of official offerings for Planet Coaster. Being able to use an upcoming coaster in your parks a great perk and I hope to see more of these partnerships in the future.
