We gamers love us some preorders, in fact it's almost become a fandom wide pasttime.  1C has opened the gates on Theatre of War, their epic WWII RTS, and preordering even saves you a little money.

1C and Battlefront.com are thrilled to announce the opening of pre-orders for Theatre of War, the much anticipated World War Two real-time strategy game by the creators of IL-2 Sturmovik and the makers of Combat Mission!

Players pre-ordering now save an extra $10, will be able to download the game immediately upon release from Battlefront's digital delivery portal, and will receive a copy of the game with DVD box and printed manual by mail. Theatre of War is not sold in stores.

Theatre of War will be released worldwide via Battlefront's online store on April 19, 2007.
