Insurgency is one of the most well-respected hardcore/tactical FPS on the market, known for its sort of barebones approach to the gameplay. It's now getting a sequel, Insurgency: Sandstorm, which will be coming to consoles in addition to PC.
This time around, the game has a full fledged story mode, about an ex-soldier fighting alongside a female resistance fighter. The two character system seems to promise a co-op mode, something that is always welcome in games with this sort of difficulty.
