The PlayStation 4 version of Fallout 4 and Skyrim will support mods and 4K

It was last month that Bethesda announced mods wouldn't be coming to Fallout 4 or Skyrim, but today, things got straightened out.

Skyrim launches on the PlayStation 4 on October 28th and it will be the first title to get mod support. You won't be able to use any of your own textures, but at least people can mod the game to their heart's content on the Sony console.

If you're picking up a PlayStation 4 Pro, Skyrim will also be able to run at 4K.

Later on, Fallout 4 will both get mod support and 4K, but no time table was given for how long it would take for that game to get both. At least things got worked out between Bethesda and Sony so seeing mod support come should make a lot of fans happy. Glad it got fixed and it'll be a benefit for both parties when the features become available.
