If you have played many recent Tecmo-Koei games recently, you have no doubt noticed some cameo appearances. Whether it's Dead or Alive, Warriors Orochi, Ninja Gaiden or many of their other games, characters have seemingly been crossing over into other franchises for most of their recent titles. Well it seems like Tecmo-Koei threw their hands in the air and said "f*ck it" and decided to make the cross over to end all cross overs.
Tecmo-Koei have announced Musou Stars, a game that takes a bunch of their own characters from various franchises, and throws them together in a single Dynasty Warriors style beat em up.
Right from the trailer we can see Ryu from Ninja Gaiden, Kasumi from Dead or Alive and Sophie from Atelier Sophie. If this game is anything like other Dynasty Warriors games, then this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of playable characters and the final roster will probably be huge.
Musou Stars will be out for PS4 in Japan sometime next year. No word yet on a western release date. I love Tecmo-Koei games. I love Dynasty Warriors games. This game is now on my highly anticipated games list of 2017.
