Digital Cybercherries releases a new version of their Retro Arcade

More On: New Retro Arcade: Neon

Retro Arcade was one of my favorite games with the Oculus DK2 as it simulated being in an arcade really, really well. Today, Digital Cybercherries has released the New Retro Arcade: Neon so you can relive your arcade memories again.

The demo released last month was similar to the old version, but this new one adds a ton of more features. Things such as Skeeball, Air Hockey, and even a movie room is now in place. And yes, you can play with others but there's one big missing feature there. Any custom arcade cabinets won't work online. Ugh. I was hoping to be able to play with friends on some old arcade classics, but for now, the multiplayer is limited to carnival games.

It's selling for $22.45 right now on Steam, which is 10% off if you're interested. You don't even need a virtual reality headset to play it. I'm holding off until some of the bugs gets fixed as well as word on if we'll be able to play with others online with the custom arcade cabinets.
