We’re preparing to to head into the final quarter of 2016 in just a few more weeks. August is here, and perhaps this will be the month that gives us a little bit of a break on the releases before the insane, Fall rush hits us as we head into the holiday season.

The headliner this week is a new adventure game from the masters of storytelling at Telltale games. this time they are taking on Gotham’s Caped Crusader in a new series. The new series based on Batman will release the first episode this week on pretty much every platform imaginable. This will be a lot like Telltale’s previous games, with the focus being on the story being told rather than the action, with decisions and choices shaping the direction of the game. This time around however, they are implementing a means o allowing those watching you play the game online to cast their votes on which choices the player should make.

PC gamers who have always wanted to build their own arcade can check out Retro Arcade: Neon on Steam. You can build your own arcade, fueled by your own games, and invite friends and others online to visit and play alongside you. It is a pretty cool concept and even offers full VR support for those who have the hardware.
