HTC's really going all in on virtual reality. With the success of the HTC Vive, HTC announced that they are bringing together 28 investment companies that would allow them to have access to $10 billion in funds for helping startups.

If you're looking to get into VR development, whether it be software or hardware, you have six times a year to pitch your ideas to the group and if they like what you have to say, they can invest in your company to help you get off the ground.

This should be a nice way to help jump start a few companies that are looking to get into VR in its infancy.
