World of Tanks PlayStation 4 Edition (Gaming Nexus score: 8.8/10) brings the Wolfpack Update to PlayStation 4 on Tuesday, March 8. The Wolfpack Update contains nine Soviet and nine German light and medium tanks, all with purportedly good flanking ability. You'll see them running circles around one poor fella in the video. These vehicles include the lean-back Soviet A-44, Soviet Obj. 140, the stout German Pz. II G, the angular German VK 30.02 D, and heavy-snouted German Leopard 1. Also, but not featured in the video, is the U.S. M6A2E1 "Mutant 6," a hybrid of American tanks, available in the in-game store for a limited time.

Three new maps open up on PS4 with the Wolfpack Update, too: Severogorsk with its mountain trails, Tundra with its brawling battlefield, and Dragon Ridge with its endless routes and, apparently, rice patties.

Again, these updates arrive March 8, about four weeks after the British tank update, keeping a nice, steady, monthly clip of new content coming to the PS4.

The PlayStation 4 edition of World of Tanks launched on January 19. It's still a good time being a tank and blowing up other tanks, it's free to play, and still doesn't require PlayStation Plus for the online play.

Wolfpack Update Invades PlayStation 4

World of Tanks adds Soviet and German tanks with new maps

March 2, 2016 — Join the thrill of the hunt with the new "Wolfpack" content update arriving to World of Tanks on PlayStation 4. On March 8, nine Soviet and nine German light and medium tanks will be added along with three new maps. Additionally, on March 4, the highly anticipated US M6A2E1 "Mutant 6," a hybrid of American heavy tanks, will be available in the in-game store for a limited time.

Making their debut to the PlayStation 4 battlefield are 18 light and medium Soviet and German tanks. These vehicles, including the A-44, Obj.140, Pz. II G, VK 30.02 D and Leopard 1 are adept at flanking their opponents when hunting as a pack to overwhelm the enemy from every direction. The Wolfpack update has also added three new maps to PlayStation 4 including the mountain trails of Severogorsk, offering excellent sniping opportunities, Tundra with a versatile brawling battlefield, and Dragon Ridge with endless routes and angles of attack.

World of Tanks on PlayStation 4 is free to all PlayStation accounts and does not require a PlayStation Plus membership to play.
