EA UFC 2 is just a few months away and EA dropped a new trailer with some new in game footage. In the trailer you can see some of the most recent bouts in the UFC re-reacted in game with the all new character visuals and gameplay additions. We also get to see Conor McGregor show off the new Knockout Physics System as he dropped Jose Aldo in about 13 seconds.
Of course, as with all games these days, pre-ordering will get you special bonuses. Those who pre-order the game will get access to Bas Rutten, Kazushi Sakuraba and a special mystery fighter. My money is on CM Punk as the mystery fighter.
EA UFC was one of those surprise hits for me. It had some shortcomings like the incredibly repetitive career mode and the fact that you couldn't create your own shows but I still loved it and thought it was an excellent first outing for EA. I am absolutely hyped for EA UFC 2 as it appears that it's adding in all the features that it was missing last year. Custom female fighters along with a revamped create a fighter mode, an enhanced career mode, custom event creator and even this new KO mode, which has no grappling sounds amazing.
EA UFC 2 gets back into the Octagon on March 15th for PS4 and Xbox One.
