New monster available for Evolve

We haven't actually mentioned Turtle Rock's 4v1 battle arena monster hunter Evolve in the past few weeks. But the game and developers keep plugging away with scheduled content. The latest additions is a new monster, Gorgon, that joins the two hunters previously released, Lennox from the Assault class and Jack from the Trapper class.

Gorgon is a spider monster that makes up for a lack of health and armor by utilizing ranged attacks and a web sling to quickly pull herself across the map. Her abilities include:

• Acid Spit - coats a target in burning acid and can be sprayed onto the environment, making areas too dangerous for Hunters to cross
• Web Snare - slows a target's movement and deals damage, making Hunters easy prey for additional attacks
• Spider Trap - can be deployed at range, snatching Hunters and slowly digesting them while carrying them away
• Mimic - is a glowing husk that Gorgon sheds and controls remotely that traverses, melee attacks and detonates manually like a remote controlled bomb

Gorgon and the hunters are available individually or as part of Hunting Season 2 which is $24.99 and in addition to the monster and two hunters mentioned here will also include two more hunters to be released between now and the end of March, 2016. Individually, Gorgon is priced at $9.99 and the hunters at $4.99 apiece.
