I guess the old motto of “better late than never” applies here as Capcom and Sony have announced a release date for the Vita version of Resident Evil: Revelations 2. Although the portable version was announced alongside the console versions, its release was pushed beyond the initial launch date of February 24, 2015. The Vita version is now ready for public consumption and will launch on August 18, 2015.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 is launching all four of the episodic game’s core episodes along with two bonus episodes in a single package for $39.99. Frima Studio is responsible for porting the game over to Sony’s handheld, and judging by the stellar work that they have done on the PSP and Vita in the past, this should be a quality port.
