Brace yourselves: The Iconian War begins today in Star Trek Online

Perfect World Entertainment announced that the Iconian War is upon us in Star Trek Online.  The newest season is the catalyst for a battle that has been five years in the making, and it goes live this week.  This is officially the tenth season for the MMO, and is proving to be one of the best ones yet.  The official explanation of the new season is that the Iconians are an ancient race that has remained dormant for years while simply waiting for their time to strike, along with their personal guards, the dangerous Heralds.  The players of Star Trek Online have a job to do, and that's to push back the Iconians and the Heralds.

Players' games will automatically be patched to update once the download is completed, so get online and get to protecting the Federation from the Iconian forces!
