This week is a bit of the like the calm before the storm in my household, as I prepare for the launch of next week’s Mortal Kombat X. I am sorry, but I cannot seem to focus on anything other than NetherRealm’s fighter at this point.

The big retail releases this week are next generation remakes of Dark Souls II, which should be able to grab onto some of the Bloodborne hype following the release of the PS4 exclusive, and Xenoblade Chronicles for the New Nintendo 3DS. Most of the other titles launching this week are digital, with quite a few of them being available for free via the PlayStation Plus program.

This week’s lineup:

  • Aaru’s Awakening for PS3 and PS4 (via PSN)
  • Bastion for PS4 (via PSN)
  • Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin for Xbox One and PS4
  • Dead Synchronicity for PC
  • Element4l for Vita (via PSN)
  • I Am Bread for PC
  • Krinkle Krusher for Vita, PS3 and Ps4 (via PSN)
  • MonsterBag for Vita (via PSN)
  • Stealth Inc. 2: A Game of Clones for PC, Wii U, Xbox One, Vita, PS3, PS4, (PSN Cross Buy enabled)
  • Tower of Guns for PS3 and PS4
  • Xenoblade Chronicles for New 3DS
