NetherRealm Studios held another MKast today on their official Twitch stream and we got to see Kitana and Reptile in action. The first ting they showed off of course were Kitana and Reptile's variations and I would say that Kitana has some of the most interesting ones in the game. In one of her variations, she uses a lot of her common moves you know from her history in Mortal Kombat.
The most interesting one however is her "Mournful" variation. NetherRealm Studios confirmed that Jade will not be returning in Mortal Kombat X, but the good news for Jade fans is that Kitana will take over her abilities in one of her variations.
After seeing Kitana and Reptile in action, NetherRealm gave us our first look at a brand new stage in Mortal Kombat X called "Crossroads". Crossroads looks like an updated version of the "Hell" stage from MK9, with the fighters on a cliff overlooking a giant lava lake in the background. I would be shocked if there wasn't some kind of stage fatality here.
Like the last stream, NetherRealm trolled the audience by having Goro on the select screen but said they won't play as him until a later date.
If you missed it, you can watch all the action below or on their official Twitch profile.
