Gear up and prepare to head down to the Dark Below [Destiny]

Here we are, the final weekend before Bungie launches the first major expansion for their don’t-call-it-an-mmo Destiny. The Dark Below will launch on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 for $19.99 (free for Season Pass owners). There are quite a few features included in the pack, which you may or may not be aware of:

• light level cap increased to 32
• new story missions
• three new multiplayer maps
• one new cooperative Strike mission
• one new exclusive cooperative Strike mission on the PlayStation platforms
• one new six-player raid

That is quite a bit of content that should bring back some players who may have drifted away over the past few months. I know that the pending release has encouraged me to head back into the game to shake off some rust in preparation for the pack. Expect our full review of the new content very soon.
