EA Sports starts rolling out patches to NHL 15

A lot of people (myself included) were disappointed when EA revealed that they weren't delivering all of the features people expected in the initial version of NHL 15 at launch.  As Sean noted in his review of the game the game is notable more for it's missing features than the ones that shipped with the game.  This is disappointing as the core mechanics of the game are greatly improved over last year's offering.

EA did promise to start releasing updates with the missing features and the first patch is now available for all owners of the game. The first batch of updates includes the following:

• User interface tweaks to Hockey Ultimate team mode
• Playoff mode
• Coach feedback in the "Be a Pro" mode
• 3 Stars after each game

It's nice to see EA finally getting some of these features out to gamers and hopefully the rest of the features will be in before the NHL season kicks off in October.
