Nintendo Download: Free Smash Curtain Call Warriors edition

More On: Nintendo Download

This week (and into next) Nintendo fans have a lot of digital goodies to look forward to. Starting September 19th, the Super Smash Bros. demo for 3DS will be available to all. Because I buy and register a financially irresponsible quantity of Nintendo games I've been playing around with the Club Nintendo version of the demo, and so far it's very promising.

Fans can also get their hands on Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call (damn that's hard to spell!) on 3DS. The game features new Versus and Quest Medley modes, including 221 songs and 60 characters from the famous series. Sounds like mainlining FF fanservice to me.

Not to be outdone by Smash Bros and Final Fantasy, Cooking Mama returns in her fifth main title, Cooking Mama 5: Bon Appetit. There are 60 new recipes and 30 new challenges to tackle, and you don't want to stare into Mama's soul-crushing, fiery disappointment eyes, do you?!

Once you're done cooking, you can let off some steam next week with Hyrule Warriors. I really enjoyed the game, so check out my review if you're still on the fence, and hit the break for all the rest of the upcoming digital goodness from Nintendo.

The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service that features a wide variety of content, including new and classic games, applications and demos. All funds from one card must be loaded in the Nintendo eShop on either Wii U or the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, but can be used in either Nintendo eShop if the systems are linked to a single Nintendo Network account.
