343 Industries announces Halo 5: Guardians

After the teaser at last years E3 Halo fans have been anxiously awaiting an official announcement of the next title in the Halo series. Today is a lucky day for those fans, as 343 Industries has officially announced the next Halo game, Halo 5: Guardians, that will release on Xbox One in Fall of 2015. 343 general manager Bonnie Ross made the official announcement today, calling Halo 5 a "bigger effort" that will take full advantage of the powerful Xbox One hardware. According to Ross fans can look forward to learning a lot more at this years E3. 

I have never been a huge Halo fan, but I legitimately enjoyed my time with Halo 4, maybe more than any other game in the series. I look forward to seeing what else 343 will do with this series, especially now that they are working on new hardware.
