The folks over at IGN have the scoop that the
Sunday Ticket app
will not be back for a third season on the Playstation 3. While the service was initially launched with some issues, it did stabilize and was a great option for those that didn't, or couldn't get the satellite service. I know I am a bit disappointed, as I used it frequently while reviewing projectors.
Personally, I think IGNs speculation that Microsoft's impending NFL Content partnership on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One might have something to do with this. Having both consoles, I don't care either way, but I hope that one of them pick the service back up so I can have an alternate option to view games instead of my lone satellite receiver.
