Konami released a new trailer for
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 at its pre-E3 press briefing, showcasing the sequel that places players in the shoes of Dracula himself.
The trailer, which is longer than six minutes, sets the stage for Gabriel's quest for vengeance. Zobek, Gabriel's former mentor, approaches him and, in a cutscene taken from the end of Lords of Shadow, tells Gabriel he can achieve immortality if he undergoes a new quest.
Konami said that Lords of Shadow 2 will have a much darker story than both its console prequel and the 3DS title Mirror of Fate.
