Fans seemed to really like the Tales of Xillia Collector's Edition, so much so that Namco Bandai is serving up a new Limited Edition with even more included swag. Limited to the first run of printings, this new bundle will include a character profile booklet, a soundtrack DC and two DLC costumes. Please note that the Limited Edition is separate from the Collector's Edition. Also, if you pre-ordered the standard edition already, your order will be automatically upgraded to the Limited Edition.
Due to the incredible fan response for the TALES OF XILLIA™ Collector’s Edition, NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. today is announcing the TALES OF XILLIA Limited Edition available at all US and Canadian retailers for a MSRP of $59.99 on August 6, 2013 for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. The Limited Edition will be limited to all first-run copies of the game and include; TALES OF XILLIA game software, exclusive collectable character profile booklet, TALES OF XILLIA music CD, and two DLC costumes.
TALES OF XILLIA draws players into the grand adventures of Jude Mathis, a clever medical student attending school in the capital city, and Milla Maxwell, a mysterious woman accompanied by four unseen beings. In a tale that can be experienced and played through either the perspective of Jude or Milla, the two heroes’ paths fatefully intertwine as they learn that the kingdom of Rashugal has been willfully experimenting with a powerful device that has effectively been draining the mana from the world. Faced with the realization that continued experiments would result in dangerous ramifications, Milla and Jude join forces to bring back peace and restoration to a dying world in a perilous journey that will test their courage and conviction.
