Polygon was at SXSW where there was a Gearbox panel they attended. At the end, the teaser below, recorded by Polygon, was shown hinting at a new Vault Hunter for Borderlands 2.
The folks at Polygon think it's going to be a more melee based character, which would add a little variety to the game. A lot of the enemies do run straight to you so barreling through them with your fists might give some satisfaction not experienced with guns in you hands.
