God of War demo now available (plus a new trailer)

More On: God of War Ascension
So the God of War Ascension demo is available today (specifically, "later today"), and Sony has released a new God of War Ascension trailer.  However, the most interesting bit of this whole thing is kinda buried in there.  It this: "presented by History's Vikings."  My first though was, "Wow, I didn't know Vikings were still a body capable of sponsoring things." but then I came across another even stranger bit.  Toward the bottom, it says, "HISTORY's upcoming scripted original series, VIKINGS."  They're making scripted shows now?  It's apparently NOT based on Bernard Cornwell's The Saxon Tales/Stories, however, and that makes me sad.  Whatever, I'm digressing.

Anyway, the demo takes place during the game's early stages and here's the launch trailer.  To learn more, follow the jump.

Also, later today, the Ascension single-player demo – presented by HISTORY’s VIKINGS –  will be made available to ALL PlayStation Network users. Focused on the game’s spectacularly grand opening sequence, the demo will allow players to explore and master Ascension’s refined and expanded combat mechanics, not to mention get a tantalizing taste of where Ascension’s story begins.
