Mass Effect 3: Omega DLC and future Mass Effect titles hinted at in Bioware blog post

In a recent blog post by General Manager Aaryn Flynn in regards to the departure of Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk, Bioware essentially announced that there is going to be more single player DLC for Mass Effect 3 this fall.

In the post, Flynn states,

"We are releasing more multiplayer content and we have more single-player stories coming throughout the next six months, including Omega which is coming in the Fall. But the Mass Effect universe is vast, and Casey and our teams have plans for another full game."

This will come as welcome news for this DLC, which will presumably allow players to retake Omega from Cerberus, has long been hinted at and anticipated by ME3 players. What is more interesting is the admission that there is a new Mass Effect game in the works. There is no information regarding what genre the new game will fall into (though Muzyka and Zeschuk both said it would be interesting to be an MMO). If they do indeed plan on going down the MMO path, here's hoping that it doesn't end up like The Old Republic.
