Darksiders II gets a survival arena and new game plus

THQ has recently announced that Darksiders II will be gaining a survival arena mode, as well as a New Game + mode.  The Arena Challenge mode will feature 100 unique waves of combat where every five waves completed, players have the option of taking a prize or continuing on for another five waves with the ultimate goal of clearing all 100 waves and claiming the top prizes.  New Game + should be familiar with fans of RPG-style games and it's no different here.  New Game + will let you begin a new game while retaining your stats and gear from your completed game.
