The folks at Piranha Games have
posted a new blog entry that details the MechLab portion of
MechWarrior Online. This is the part of the game that will allow you to control the weapons, armor, and various add-ons for your mechs as well as the custom paint jobs you give your mechs.
Reading through the details it looks like fans of the old MechWarrior PC games and the tabletop version of the game are going to feel right at home as you still have to manage tonnage, hard points, and other fun things like heat sinks. I
fell in love with the game at GDC this year and the game just looks all kinds of awesome.
