Trion and Belver have announced today that after a series of successful beta tests, the Russian version of MMORPG Rift is now live.  However, this isn't your standard, run-of-the-mill, localization; Rift has been completely localized from the ground up.  Rift also has it's very own Russian language website that can be found at www.riftworld.ru, in addition to the regular old English one.  Looking beyond the Russian release, Rift is set to premier in Korea sometime next year.  For more information visit the website or follow the jump.  
Trion Worlds and Belver Open RIFT™ Rift in Russia

Trion and publishing partner Belver announced today that the Russian version of the popular MMORPG, Rift™, is now live following a series of successful beta tests. Completely localized from the ground up for the Russian language audience, the new version is the first to launch in a new territory since the English, German, and French clients hit earlier this year. The Russian release is just the next step in an ongoing quest to share the game with the global community of MMO enthusiasts, as Trion plans to premiere Rift in Korea sometime next year.
The game is also getting an official Russian web presence at www.riftworld.ru where gamers can create accounts, learn about the game, and become part of the growing forum community.
